You are underplaying the amount of lovely park land in the USA available to all to use as they wish. There are over ten thousand state parks in the USA with over 200,000 camp sites. Alaska alone has over 3 million acres of state park land, and New York has over 350,000 acres. That doesn't include state and national forests and county and municipal parks. I have a beautiful 380 acre city park a few blocks away from me, and I like taking pictures there and will continue to do so.
