Who are you sharing your bank information with to do this bank boycott? I don't share my financial information with strangers and you shouldn't either.

Now that we have that covered, this is a super easy way to virtue signal. "Oh, I don't have any money in Citibank." because they never did. Or maybe they still do but how can anyone know that if they are not sharing relevant financial information. A public protest is only effective if protesters show up. The only way a withdrawal strike would work is if it can be proved that it happened. The bank won't admit it in the short term, and they don't have to. Unless the strikers' personal data is in the mix it's impossible to know how serious the strike was for the bank. But people could virtue signal their ass off.
