What is missing from this story is what happened to the "male friend" that sent you the inappropriate video. He disappeared after the first sentence. Did you read him the riot act or block him from your phone? Did you call his wife and tell her he sent you a sexually suggestive video? That is absolutely the only part of this scenario that you had any actual control over whatsoever, and you did what with it? Not important enough to tell us, or you did nothing? Whining about society will do jack shit except get you views on Medium, but you could have straightened at least one member of society out.
