Unfortunately it might be an all or nothing thing. I’m in my sixties, and to be honest at some point I may be in the market for an e-bike, hopefully around my 90th birthday or so. Yes, I’ve encountered hammerheads on trials bikes flying down the bike trail at almost thirty miles an hour, but you have to be in great shape to do that so it limits the number of people who can reach those speeds. On an e-bike, anyone can do it.
