When did scientists start having "messages"? Scientists are supposed to present their unbiased research and let the elected folks who who make policy make the policy and do the messaging. And only scientists who are experts in climate science in particular should really have anything to say about it. Why would an astronomer or molecular biologist know more about AGW than a lawyer or a carpenter? Science isn't a religion where the science priests have "messages" for the great unwashed multitudes from Mother Nature. But yeah, it's more end of the world bullshit.
