To imply that population control is right wing philosophy beyond the looney tune fringe is a flat out lie. Interest in eugenics in the USA, which included Margaret Sanger, was part of the Progressive Movement of the early 20th Century. Planned Parenthood is not right wing. On the contrary, support of it seems to be the litmus test for membership in the Democratic Party these days. The largest regular protest in the USA is the annual March for Life in DC in January which can attract half a million people, and they are strongly against population control, yet Trump spoke at it this year. The desired coda to the POTH film includes “In the developed world, we should improve funding for family planning services, to make condoms, birth control and abortion free and readily available.” which is totally boilerplate left wing stuff, and yup it is completely about population control. The author worries about an “alt-right curious” youngster getting the wrong idea from this movie but isn’t worried about a procreation curious youngster getting actual population control methods pushed on them by the left every time they turn around? One of the great cognitive dissonances of the modern left and particularly the environmental movement is that they seem to be very worried about the make believe non-existent people of the future, but they think it’s okay to kill an already developing human being with unique DNA and everything in a woman’s body. That does not compute.

People on the right are enjoying POTH because it shows the public what they have known all along, which is that everything surrounding AGW is a scam or willful delusion of some kind.
