Though I am familiar with a fair amount of anarchist theory, reading that required my close attention, and I’ve already forgotten most of it. I was struck by how these systems seem to be self creating and have a consciousness, rather than being billions of people just doing shit. It all seems very magical, and the poring over the works of the leading scholars seeking new insights appears theological in nature. If you can’t make anarchy work in your day to day life, I guess this is what you do.
