This year there are F1 races in Abu Dahbi and Jeddah, and next year there will be one in Quatar as well. They don't do scantily clad women walking around for anything, even swimming.
I agree that banning grid girls was definitely removing opportunities for a lot of women, but they weren't properly credentialed by a feminist approved body to do the work they were doing, they were just acting on their own behalf using what gifts they have. We can't have them have them getting to know rich and influentual people just because they are pretty and have social skills. They should be a doctor or lawyer, or work for a maid service or wait on tables I quess.
