There’s a lot of fuss in this scheme about laws and taxes. The real libertarians I know pretty much ignore that stuff, except as they can’t get around them because some cop is going to stick a gun in their face. Once you accept that human laws are merely a suggestion, it greatly expands your freedom of action no matter where you are, or what kind of system is in place. Systems, structures, and territories are contrary to everything that liberty is about. A libertarian treats them all as temporary and non-binding, except as they personally wish them to be. That is why being a libertarian while being a socialist is impossible. If one person in a socialist society says “Don’t tell me what to do.” and gets away with it, the whole system will collapse.
