There is nothing new in this biography, so I’ll add that Mujahid Halim, the only admitted assassin of Malcolm X of the three who fired shots at him, was released from custody in March 2010. He left the Nation of Islam, but is still living and a practicing Muslim. The identity of the two other gunmen is still a contentious topic, but two other men did time for the crime and were released in the 1980s. Halim claims that neither were the actual shooters.
