The World's Spiciest Pepper as of 2013 is the Carolina Reaper, bred by Ed Curie, of Ft. Mill SC, USA. It is 2 million Scoville Units, double the Ghost Pepper. I'm a chili head, and I grew a plant a few years ago. The fruit is colorful, and weirdly gnarled like something a human shouldn't eat. It's crazy hot, as in it will take your breath away and might make you feel like you're losing consciousness.. Using the toilet the next day could have you screaming. I worked my way into being able to handle a little bit because I'm insane like that, but I had to quit because hours after eating even a sprinkling of dried ground Reaper, I had the feeling that something was moving around in my stomach. It wasn't painful, just creepy.
