The single graph that was included doesn't have millionaires on it. Over $250K is not a millionaire, but could include some millionaires who are the ones calling themselves "upper class" in the responses. You are not proving your assertion here. The linked CNBC poll says this:
"Studies show that more than three-quarters of today's millionaires made their money themselves and started out in the middle class or lower. Wealth experts say these self-made millionaires may still see themselves as having middle-class values of hard work, humility and family despite their increased wealth."
That makes perfect sense, and is also proof that the American Dream is real.
I can't remember once in my entire life when someone handed me a piece of official paper that asked me to identify my "class". Class doesn't matter in the USA since there is no tangible benefit from identifying yourself one way or another. Class consciousness is some made up nonsense. Want to join a country club? Just come up with the membership fee.
