The quote about eating bread by Gwyneth Paltrow was originially spoken on some podcast called 'Smartless' right along with her claim that she was drinking whiskey seven nights a week. Then it went to the UK Mirror Mirror online, and then was picked up and packaged as a blurb by a features columnist at the Guardian, then Ms. Buckley ran it. Needless to say, the quote is taken completely out of context in its fourth iteration. The Guardian headline says, "Gwyneth Paltrow broke down and ate bread during quarantine. How did you surprise yourself?" Is there some assumption that she is dumb enough to announce something like that because she is a blond woman? She's not dumb. It's okay to make fun of the rich and beautiful, and the most important thing for a celebrity and businesswoman like Ms. Paltrow is to get the brand name out there so it's win-win, but it's still fake news.
