The premise that people liked their jobs before they became educated is based on what besides wishful thinking? The fellows that worked in the mills and coal mines in Pittsburgh when I grew up drank shots and beers before and after work, and I'm sure the fact that they were constantly in physical pain was only part of that. Do you think that the uneducated women who sewed your clothing together in an un-airconditioned plant in Sri Lanka hate their jobs? I bet they would rather be something else. The idea is silly, because education gives you CHOICES.
