The only thing that actually helps the poor and working class is capitalism. All of the plumbers I know have Harleys, bass boats, and vacation homes. Who do you think supports Trump? The US Government doesn't make anything besides nuclear weapons. Everything that actually gets built by workers is done by private contractors. The main thing the government does at Federal and State level is move money around, even in our health care system.

Okay, the capitalists are defeated in the magical worldwide revolution that will make everything right. Now who runs things? The people who actually produce everything and manage it are specialists. It takes more than a good attitude to keep the lights on, food in refrigerator, and a strong signal, it takes training and experience, so you end up with the same people or you have starvation and privation like in the Cultural Revolution in the PRC. If you want to live in a socialist society, move to Cuba, Venezuala, or North Korea. They are the true believers.
