The Habitat build was absolutely beautiful, even though I smashed a finger and got a little sun poisoning, and I admire Beth a lot because she ran a tight ship and had built a good crew. The fact that all of the techs were still the same over four years says a lot, as did the high quality of the houses. Better than commercial for a similar structure by a long shot.

On blue collar jobs the people that are the most competent, knowledgeable, hardworking, and able to deal with problems are looked up to, since you can actually see what everyone has done. It’s not subjective, and most people are wearing uniforms or stained work clothes. I’ve done a lot of different kinds of work but never had an office job, thank God. I couldn’t deal with the petty crap.
