The festival overlapped with the Pride Parade too, and that was swell as always. I went again last night to hear the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, and they played Handel's Water Music on the banks of the Allegheny River as the sun set. It was fantastic. Where do you live that free cultural events attract a bunch of assholes who will grope or threaten with the cops standing around? We have newspapers here and they didn't reeport any ugliness.

On the other hand a 16 year old girl was shot in the Hill District, and they only know that because of Shot-Spotter since people in that neighborhood don't call the police. I hope she pulls through.
