The energy sanctions placed on Russia by Europe for invading Ukraine are a bunch of BS, Natural gas is still flowing from Russia to Germany via the Nord Stream One pipeline. Putin has Western Europe over a barrel because they cut nuclear and coal powered electricity generation due to pressure by Greens before they could operate their economies without Russian NG. The environmental movement have been working for the Kremlin for decades, consciously or not. Even the Canadians will change the rules for Gazprom:
