"The best antidote to hate is love."

No, it's just tolerance. You don't have to love other people, you just have accept sharing space with them. That was the issue that caused the civil war in Yugoslavia, which had festering ethnic and nationalistic issues left over from WW II that the communist government never really dealt with. There were also arms, and I mean tanks and artillery, all over the country that fell into the wrong hands. There simply aren't enough people out organizing and training for a civil war for there to be one in this country. They'd rather post noxious views on Twitter than sleep in a tent and be told what to do by some fanatical knucklehead. This civil war talk is ridiculous. People have too much to lose, no one is ready for the privation a civil conflict would cause, and Americans by and large are pretty tolerant.
