That's very interesting, but it also raises the question as to why having invented all of these things, Arabs don't manufacture any of them now. There are no airplanes, fountain pens, or automobiles being produced in any Arab country that I'm aware of, and very little history of the same which is why no one knows this information. As far as universities go, I've met Arab students attending the American universities for engineering and medicine near me, but I've never met an American that went to a university in an Arab country. Yemeni coffee is pretty amazing though.
