That's not a T-62 tank pictured, since neither Russia nor Ukraine uses them anymore. I believe that it's an upgraded T-72, and both countries have lots of them even though they are originally built in the 1960s. In fact the equipment and uniforms for both the Ukranian and Russian Ground Forces are so similar that I'm not sure how they tell each other apart on the battlefield. In Donbass, both sides are fighting from fixed positions, so they always know where each other is.

As soon as Germany turns on Nordstream 2 for Gazprom, this will all go away.
