That story was fasinating. Thanks for sharing it! But to say that North Korea is not a communist country is patently ridiculous. There is certainly an insane cult of personality around the despicable Kim family, but how is their government or economy appreciably different than the USSR or Maoist China? There is no private property, private enterprise, freedom of association, or freedom of speech. The entire economy is state planned and state run. It’s a one party police state, and the Worker’s Party of Korea even has a Central Committee and a Politburo! They have red stars on their military equipment. Calling the whole thing “Juche” doesn’t make them any less communist.
