Ted Kaczynski attended Harvard between 1958 and 1962, which was when Grothendieck lectured there, so the chance that they crossed paths is extremely high. Alex seems to have had more of a way with the ladies than Teddy, but they both seem to be extreme narcissists. The introduction to Harvests and Seeds runs 98 pages before you get into the 1,000 plus page book! At least Grothendieck didn’t kill anybody.
