Over the course of my life I have voted in person in four different states and many more different districts, and by mail when I was overseas. Your assertion that it is hard to vote in this country is ludicrous. I lived next to a group home for developmentally disabled adults for many years, and they voted in every single election. I’ve seen people on gurneys hooked up to oxygen tanks vote. All you have to do is ask someone to help you. Churches, campaigns, and the major parties will send a car or a bus to pick you up and deliver you to the polls. Polls are typically open for 12 frickin’ hours on election day, and if someone’s life is so out of control that they can’t carve out a half hour to vote, they could just use an absentee ballot. Again, asking for someone to help is the key to solving this problem for anyone, and many other problems besides.
