On the East Coast, seeing white people as chambermaids and in all of the other menial hospitality jobs you can think of is common at the beach from the Jersey Shore to Ft. Lauderdale. They are all Eastern Europeans, many from Poland and Russia. Many service workers in Las Vegas are also Eastern European, including every other bartender and waitron.
