"On the black market, no one tests the quality of cannabis products."
Sure they do. A time honored ritual is having a few puffs with your dealer. Not only is the taste and quality revealed, but it's obviously not poisoned somehow if they are smoking it with you. I know some real weed aficanados who buy various strains of bud on the black market with no problem, and if the dealers continue to want their business it will be as advertised.
Actually the only time that I got weed that was poisoned, it had been poisoned with the herbicide paraquat by the US government. Had to throw a whole ounce away. So I don't want the government to have anything to do with the cannabis I am using, and I certainly don't want to give them any money for it after hiding from them for decades. I hope that the entire cannabis sales and regulatory regime completely fails. I haven't needed it to enjoy marijuana for the last almost fifty years, and I don't need it now. I'll continue to deal with criminals if need be. There is also no reason why I shouldn't be allowed to grow my own cannabis in full view of everybody, in the same way that people legally make wine and beer in their home. Of course a single healthy female plant could provide a year's worth of weed while giving half of it away, which I would happily do since I like to share with my friends. Weed is really a pleasure to share, and I also find that pot dealers are generally happy in their work, so I plan to keep them working.
