"Missiles don’t just get shot with no warning. There’s a ‘kindness’ to this mechanism. A harmless mini bomb gets sent to the location first. As a warning. "
First of all, the Qassam rockets fired at Israel are not "missiles" they are rockets. They are cheap and relatively easy to make, so they don't have guidance systems. The original design they are adopted from are an old Soviet tactical weapon system where about 10 trucks would fire 16 rockets a piece at once, so 160 rockets would cover a wide area because they were and are completely inaccurate. They can't get these things to land within a kilometer of where they are aiming, so this harmless mini-bomb thing is ludicrous. How does it get to the target area, by magic? The warning system is operated by the Israeli Defense Forces not Hamas, and it's called Red Color, and it is air raid sirens hooked up to the radar system from Iron Dome. As soon as the rockets are launched it goes off. Again, that Hamas is warning Israelis with magic harmless bombs is nonsense. If Hamas would quit playing soldier everyone would be better off.
