Men still do 95% of the work that makes civilization work. If you are eating food, driving a car on a road, living and working in climate controlled building with electricity, using a toilet or a shower, communicating on a smart phone, or doing almost anything that involves a toolbox or power tools in its creation, it was virtually all men that did it. Call a plumber, electrician, or appliance repairman to your house and a guy is going to show up. Take your car to a garage for repairs and it will be full of guys. Anyone who bothers to look at who does what can see that. Male desk jockeys are now equal with women, as it should be. But where upper body strength, heavy tools, and a lot of dirt is part of the job, there aren't enough women involved to make a difference.
