Manufacturing is never coming back. When we had manufacturing in Pittsburgh when I was a kid I thought that everything was built of black stone because of the soot from the mills. The Three Rivers were open industrial sewers. Most steelworkers and miners drank themselves to death because of the pain of doing that kind of work. They just opened a brand new Whole Foods near me and $20/hr. jobs are going wanting.
