Late in his career Carlin used the word "stupid" a lot, I guess to let us know what he really thought about his audience. And this coming from a man who snorted enough coke to give himself at least 3 heart attacks and forgot to pay his taxes on millions. The last twenty years or so the man was just bitter, and not particularly funny unless you want to hear how stupid everyone else is.
