Industries that provide all of the wherewithal for us to eat, stay warm and cool, travel, communicate, recieve medical care, and do just about everything we do unless you are a hermit living in the wilderness. If tens of millions of people stopped using their products because they were cutting back on their consumption, everyone would notice. The marketing from these industries is most heavily directed at young people, and the more they are connected to a digital device, the more they are exposed to it.
