I'm a gardener and have been for many years. This season we had a couple of late frosts that killed almost all of the sprouts that I had started in the window, and I ended up buying plants at the farmers market and Home Depot. Even though I have had a reasonbly good crop, I didn't save very much money. Growing food is hard. Some professionals do it for a living.
