If you want to see real fakeness, work in public education for a while. The happy, happy, joy, joy attitude is relentless coming from the Central Office, far from the students. Most "educators" are in Central Office because they can't actually teach. The administrators don't have PhDs, and ultimately the whole thing is being run by your neighbor Ms. Rando and the other elected knuckleheads on the school board. You have to make believe that they know what they are doing. They bring in useless so called experts with pie in the sky ideas for getting test scores up. Lawsuits seem to hover over everything the school does. Add a teacher's union and double the fakery.

In college education it's not fake because it's so obvious that all of the professors and bureaucrats hate each other.
