If you have produced progeny, you need to drop all of this silliness until they're adults, and then you can run away and join the circus if you want. You owe your children a stable, comfortable life. You probably owe your other family and friends something too, and you need to consider them in your decisions because it will be them that you return to should you fall flat on your face.
