If the purpose of a protest is show people’s displeasure with something that someone is doing, what is the point of hiding their identity? On Monday there was a police brutality protest in the East Liberty neighborhood of Pittsburgh, and there were 5 helicopters circling continuously from 3 PM until 10 PM and I’m sure at least one or more of them were collecting data in case there was trouble. The protest was initially beautiful, but then a later group that showed up decided to start throwing rocks and there was tear gas and arrests. I noticed that many of them parked their cars in Highland Park, an affluent predominantly white neighborhood, so they wouldn’t get damaged if things got real. White kids going to a black neighborhood to start a riot is pushing white privilige about as far as it will go I think. The little leftists gotta do their thing away from home I guess, because having your neighborhood burn down sucks.
