If the monetary system is benefitting the people that are running it, why would they change it? Most of the US Senate are millionaires. Bernie Sanders is a millionaire. On the other hand, do we want poor ass loser academics and activists who can't afford to buy a house or a new car running the economy?

Oh hell no. I want people who who know enough about it to make it work for them running it, like millionaires.
