If the harasser is persistent and technically proficient, they can continue to pester an individual in a lot of ways, at least until they are locked up. I know some people, all guys incidentally, that can break into any consumer digital electronics with a minimum of effort. If you get on their bad side they’ll be all over you digitally for as long as they like. A couple of them know how to pick locks too, which is something hackers do for fun. The lesson here is that women and men should enter romantic relationships with people very carefully, and leave those relationships very carefully as well. Once you’re in deep with a nut, or have a guy who is really pissed off at you, they can be hard to be rid of.
