If a religion has as a matter of faith that the government should provide a social safety net to all of its citizens, and over 2/3 of the people in that country belong to that religion, can you see how it would affect policy?

By the way, the major right wing nationalist party in Finland, the Finns Party, strongly supports the social welfare state while being socially conservative and strongly opposing immigration. They are not like us.
