If a leadership position entails sitting in more meetings, oh no. Does the position entail more paperwork? Again, if it does count me out because life is entirely too short to spend it in meetings or doing paperwork. Will my leadership position cause me to have to judge people, and possibly let them go or chose one over the other? I can't carry that around with me, so nope. Will my position as a leader cause me to have to hold secrets from the people I am leading? I'm bad at that. Will part of my leadership be portraying the organization or party I am representing as something better than it really is? Will I have to present myself as something better than I really am? That's lying. So I'm not really leadership material. I'm not follower material either.
