I would label traveling the globe under buying stuff, and in fact a lot of stuff. The volunteers all get together on the holidays? What single person is hosting that soiree? Just a heads up that meeting new people that you get along with and can trust gets harder as you get older. That’s why you find a lot of older people around churches.

I’d say that adding a kind, productive, tolerant, educated, law abiding person to the community is leaving your mark in a very big way. When you see them grow and become a good person you will know that you made the world a better place.
