I haven't heard of any of those people.
The taxpayers are funding public education to create productive, law abiding citizens. The school district I live in has a portfolio or audition required magnet school for the creative arts from 6-12, and a couple of weeks ago I saw a 3 piece power trio of students from CAPA playing at a local festival. They were so good I couldn't believe they were in high school. They played classsic rock covers from Zep to Nirvana, which the crowd loved, without missing a note. People were dropping 20s in their bucket, so they are already making money. When they have finished perfecting their skills, then they can possibly move on to creating original music people will pay for as well.
