I have literally been around the World thanks to the US military, lived in 6 states and the District of Columbia, and now I'm back where I started. Until I have seen every neighborhood, bar, restaurant, historical marker, museum, park, scenic overlook, and forest within a hundred miles of me, I really haven't seen anything. I'm a gourmand, and you don't have to get on an airliner nowadays to find incredible, unique food. Some of the best meals I've had have been from US food trucks. A lot of people are taking tours of Athens or Mexico City and don't know anything about their own city. There is beauty and history everywhere.
