I don’t think that it gets any worse than being under artillery fire. It’s big explosions happening randomly all around you and throwing out pieces of supersonic, razor sharp steel. BOOM. There goes the school. BOOM. There goes the power plant and the electricity. BOOM. There goes the hospital. BOOM. There goes the supermarket. BOOM. There goes your apartment building and all of your possesions. BOOM.
