How is Russia losing this war? They took heavy casualties and their plan to take over the whole of Ukraine failed, if that was the plan, but they control 20% of Ukraine. The Ukranian Army has never launched a major offensive in its history, and now they are going to drive out a Russian army that has been digging in and sowing land mines? Fancy NATO weapons worked on the defensive, but attacking is a whole other thing. If they can drive out the Russians, why didn't they drive out the "seperatists" in Donbass over the last eight years? Zelensky is purging his government of "traitors" right now, and that is not the move of the side that is winning.

Putin is evil and it would be best for the World if he was defeated, but we can't let the cheerleading for Ukraine blind us from what's happening over there. At some point Ukraine will have to sit down with Russia and give up some territory or the conflict will never end.
