Going out to party with your friends is always a good idea if you are a guy or a gal. You can look out for each other, and no one will leave alone. A posse makes things funner and safer. But how is a group of friends in a crowded bar, at a party, or on the dance floor distinct from the other random people in the same place? It’s a mass of people, and every person is focusing on certain individuals. I wouldn’t recommend that everyone wear a red hat to distinguish you as a group though. It might be misunderstood.
