Finland has universal conscription, and 80% of male Finns are trained soldiers who are in the reserves of the Finnish Defence Forces until they are 50 or 60 years old depending on their rank. Finland manufactures a lot of their own military equipment and firearms, has the largest force of artillery in Western Europe, and soon they will be a welcome addition to NATO. They already participate in many UN and EU peacekeeping missions. Happiness is a warm 7.62 RK 62 assault rifle I guess.
Almost 70% of Finns are members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland, the official national church of the country, We don't have one of those in the USA, just like conscription. They do have billionaires like us though.
