Choosing to be sharing, kind person has nothing to do with politics. It becomes political when you feel that other people have to be told how to behave in that way. People that actually volunteer and donate to help the less fortunate tend be religious. I've never met a socialist on a Habitat for Humanity build, but I have met a lot of Presbyterians.
