Can't we just be tolerant and polite to others, particularly strangers, without loving them? The idea that an individual can express love to more than a small number of people is ridiculous. Are you friends with everybody, as in you will give anyone money or drop everything to help them with a personal crisis, no questions asked? If you do you're a moron, a mark for the con man and the lazy. So if you aren't even friends with everybody, how could you possibly love them? Giving quality love to the really important people in your life is hard enough without throwing everyone else on Earth into the process. Saying "I love everybody." means that you don't think that any individual is worthy of your love moreso than some random person.
