“As electrifying as Jackson’s performances in Tarantino’s films may be, this research should prompt a lot of self-reflection.”

Why? Mr. Jackson is an actor, and he was handed a script by a gifted director that makes hit movies, and he acted them out, quite splendidly I might add. Those movies are classics and he created iconic characters. He should be proud of himself. Jackson played hardened ruthless professional criminals? This is America! We love that shit here, as long as the gangster has style, and Jackson has oodles of style. He can also curse better than any other human alive, and we love that too. I can’t believe the number of swear words in a Quentin Tarantino movie is a big deal. None of QT’s movies could ever be subjected to a remake, so what’s done is done.
