“ Americans will have to abandon the prosperity gospel, and adopt a new form of belief that incorporates nature, and is not presupposed on dominion over the earth.”

One of the things that makes America attractive to a lot of people is that there is a limit on things that Americans have to do. Not having to do things is called “freedom”, and it’s a consideration in the USA. One thing that Americans most definitely don’t have to do is adopt a particular belief system, and that right to believe or not believe whatever they want is enshrined in the First Amendment of the US Constitution. If you would like to abandon the prosperity gospel and adopt some sort of animistic belief system, you are more than welcome to do so. If you can persuade some others to do the same, well good for you. But you will have to figure out a way to solve the perceived climate problem in such a fashion that lets the other people who are not on board with these changes live the way that they want to live, and believe what they want to believe. Of course there is the option of trying to force them to adopt these beliefs and live in the way that you think they should, but just keep in mind that they have force at their disposal as well.
